Who are we?

Meet Rachel Haynes, Director

Rachel Haynes is the founder of Fulcio Services Limited, an operations consultancy supporting growth-stage businesses and ambitious founder-led organisations to build structure, clarity and performance.

Rachel works at the intersection of strategy and delivery. She partners with CEOs and leadership teams to translate ambition into robust systems, clear priorities and measurable results. Her focus is not theory. It is execution. When businesses feel stretched, misaligned or over-reliant on key individuals, Rachel brings order, accountability and momentum.

Her career spans senior operational roles across private equity-backed businesses, venture capital and high-growth service organisations.

Rachel’s background includes leadership roles at Krotos, PURE Spa & Beauty and Carlyle Associates Executive Search, where she built operational frameworks, strengthened internal processes and supported sustained growth. Across these environments she developed a reputation for clarity under pressure, commercial awareness and disciplined follow-through.

In 2020 she completed the Executive Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, reinforcing her commitment to structured thinking and high-level leadership practice.

Through Fulcio, Rachel provides fractional COO support, structured facilitation and targeted operational interventions. She is known for creating clarity in complex environments and for helping leadership teams move from discussion to decision, and from decision to delivery.

In the past two years, Rachel has also held advisory board positions, including with Microsystem Support Limited (MSS), where she provided strategic oversight on operations, growth planning and leadership structure. In these roles, she has supported executive teams to clarify priorities, strengthen internal accountability and align operational capability with commercial ambition. Her advisory work reflects the trust placed in her judgement and her ability to balance challenge with practical, delivery-focused guidance.

Rachel was recently appointed Ambassador for BWC Edinburgh, recognising her contribution to leadership development and support for women in business across the city. In this role, she helps facilitate strategic conversations, strengthen member alignment and support the growth of the organisation’s leadership community. The appointment reflects her reputation for practical guidance, structured thinking and trusted facilitation within senior business networks.

Rachel is committed to supporting the next generation of founders. Through her New Business Clinic and mentoring work, she provides early-stage business owners with structured guidance on focus, pricing, delivery and operational foundations. She is particularly passionate about helping new founders avoid common early mistakes, build confidence in decision-making and establish disciplined habits from the outset.

Her approach is direct, commercially grounded and practical. She does not add noise. She builds the systems that allow businesses to scale without chaos and leaders to lead without firefighting.
